ALL COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AND MAINTAIN ACTIVE CERTIFICATIONS PER NVYLL 2026 RULES AND REGULATIONS

USA Lacrosse

1. Register as a Coach on USA Lacrosse - REQUIRED

(a) Create a login and use your USA Lacrosse ID# to register as a coach

(b) Complete the background check through USA Lacrosse 

(c) Complete Safe Sport Training through USA Lacrosse (Training must be retaken every 2 years)

(d) Complete Level 1/BRONZE Training through USA Lacrosse

*Failure to comply with this rule shall result in the following: (a) the immediate suspension of the coach until compliance is verified by the parent club and either the league chairman or administrator (b) a $50.00 per team fine to the coach’s parent club. Repeated or continued violations of this rule may result in more severe penalties*

2. Read and Complete the 2025 NVYLL Coaches Code of Conduct and Coach Certification Survey - REQUIRED

3. Attend NVYLL - US Lacrosse Potomac Chapter Coaches Clinic - Season Kickoff (virtual, check NVYLL website for dates and times)

CDC Concussion Training Course

4. Complete the Concussion Training through the CDC - REQUIRED

• Certification is good for 3 years from completion date
